About Us

Raising Alpacas wasn't the first thing on our minds when we moved to Dittmer, MO, 14 years ago. We have always loved animals but we both work full time and didn't think it was possible to raise animals other than a dog, cat or a few chickens. We saw these furry creatures in a farm magazine and fell in love. I was in charge of getting as much information on the animals and Bob's job was the barn, the fence, etc. etc. Everything came together and we bought our first animals in April of 2003. What a joy! We both still work full time and have plenty of time to take care of the Alpacas. If you would like to share in our passion, contact us for a farm visit.
